From February to May is spring which means the cherry blossom (Sakura) is going to open and few festivals are going to be held on the day. For example the Hanami festival where you get to view the blooming of the cherry blossom. There are also many couples going out to have a sweet honeymoon.
From May to August is summer where many people take holidays (Obon/Bon-yasumi) and visiting the beaches and viewing the firework display (Hanabai Taiki). In summer over a million and a half people visit Sumida river each year.
From August to November is autumn, the harvest season where farmers is starting to get busy. Many festivals are held on this season. On this season people will also go on the moon viewing, which Japanese people normally called it Tsukimi .
From December to February is Winter, the season of the snow. You could go skiing with friends and build a snowman ( Do you want to build a snowman.....) there's also snowboarding and winter sport held.
